honestly... it was ok. The story itself was - well - comic bookish - which to me, doesn't mean it should or can be translated to film... this is the major flaw with holywood thinking this shit will work.
I mean yes it set a new level for artistic bullshit like tarantino and pulp or stone and killers...
but on the whole - I liked the other one with the octupus better - the one with booby johansen

One time A Perfect Circle came to do an in studio appearance/"takeover" of a local station. Geordie White (a.k.a. Twiggy Ramirez) went on a whole speil about an artist that had been a major inspiration to him and proceeded to play a cut from the Macho Man CD. :jj: They just kept finding the worst shit at the station to play.

Easton police Capt. Michael Vangelo relates Phillies game horror story - UPDATE

Michael Vangelo says it was a nightmare, played out in a $55-a-seat section at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
Vangelo, a 43-year-old Easton police captain, said he's disturbed and saddened that his daughters were victims of an unruly fan who cursed and projectile-vomited on his 11-year-old at Wednesday night's Phillies game against the Washington Nationals.
"It was the most disgusting, vile thing I ever saw," said Vangelo, a 20-year police veteran.
"I'm actually embarrassed by it,'' he said today as reports circulated about how the Vangelos were terrorized by a drunken fan. "I keep playing it through my mind. I'm embarrassed by all the attention and I'm embarrassed I didn't kick the ... out of him.
"If my kids weren't with me, I probably would have been locked up and I probably would have lost my job. I don't think I would have been able to keep my cool if they weren't there. But I didn't want to do that.
"I'm a pretty private person and I want to protect my family. Cops' kids are a little bit different. They hear the stories about what you go through. To see it first-hand was different. My 11-year-old was bawling and it made me cry that she had to see this. You just don't expect it there."
Vangelo said the trouble started early at Wednesday night's game, as he sat 16 rows up from the visitors' dugout. He and a group of about 20 others share a season-ticket plan that enables him to get to about four games a year, he said.
He was with his 15-year-old daughter, her friend and Vangelo's 11-year-old daughter when two men and two women right behind them started a disturbance in the second inning, Vangelo said.
They were drinking and using vulgarities, Vangelo said, and his older daughter asked them to quiet down out of respect for the 11-year old.
That's when the real trouble started.
"Someone threw beer on me," Vangelo said, "then they threw a water bottle. I turned around and asked them to please stop. The first guy was upset I addressed him. He starts spitting. He's sitting there spitting between his legs, and works up from that to spitting on my daughter's chair to spitting on my 11-year-old's hood."
Vangelo said he summoned an usher and the first man was removed from the section. Around the same time, Vangelo said, another fan above him complained about a separate group nearby, and a number of those people were ejected, too.
While this was happening, Vangelo said, the main culprit, identified by police as 21-year-old Matthew Clemmens of Cherry Hill, N.J., wasn't around. He returned to the stands around the sixth inning, and seemed surprised that so many of the fans he had been with earlier were now gone, Vangelo said.
"He's assuming that I'm responsible, which I wasn't," he said.
"Now, this guy's about 6-foot-2, 250 pounds, and he's talking to himself," Vangelo continued. "I hear him say 'I'm gonna get sick.' I look back. He's got two fingers down his throat up to about his fist, making himself throw up. At this point, I take my kids and say 'Get out of here.'
"Not in time. The guy stands up and he projectile-vomits on me and my 11-year-old.
"I react with a two-hand shove. I'm trying to get to his face to deflect the vomit so it doesn't get on my daughter. I shoved him in the chest and we fall out into the walkway. At this point, he's throwing haymakers at me with his right fist. He hit me on left side of face and ear about four or five times. There's blood coming out of my ear.
"I thought, I'm here with my kids and I'm a cop and I can't get arrested. I want to beat the ... out of this guy, and I can't. If I get arrested, what happens to my children?
"A group of other fans are able to come over right next to me. About five of us knock this guy down and hold him. As we're holding him, he's vomiting on these other fans -- on their shoes, on their pants. It was disgusting."
One of those who came to his aid was a fellow Easton officer, Lt. John Remaley, who happened to be seated in the next section over, Vangelo said.
Remaley's brother stayed with Vangelo's daughters as the police captain gave a statement to Philadelphia police. Ushers helped his daughters in getting cleaned up, Vangelo said, and he didn't finish up with police until the top of the ninth inning.
Vangelo said he was thankful for other fans who came to his aid and offered encouragement and support in the wake of the maelstrom.
Vangelo said he and the kids talked about what happened on the ride home.
"The kids fell asleep," he said. "I would have left the game early since it was a school night, but we couldn't."
Vangelo said a fan gave his 11-year-old a baseball that someone had tossed in the stands from the dugout between innings. It was in her hands as she slept on the ride home.
"She took the ball to bed with her and the next day she took it to school," Vangelo said.
He said he has yet to hear today from the Phillies.
"It's unfortunate that one fan would ruin the experience for so many that come out to the ballpark and have a good experience," said Bonnie Clark, the team's vice president of communications.
Clark said the team was aware of the incident and officials were meeting about it today.
She said she had no information on Clemmens, whose case was being handled by Southwest Detectives.
"In terms of banning him, I don't know what we would do, unless he's a season-ticket holder," she said, adding she didn't know if Clemmens had season tickets. Vangelo said he never saw him before.
The police captain said he's heard from plenty of individuals and organizations today offering tickets, but he's politely declined. A longtime Phillies fan, he said he and his family likely would accept an offer from the team.
As for the others' offerings:
"If anyone wishes to donate those tickets they can go to the Easton Police Athletic League," said Vangelo, who's on the PAL board.
