After my last system update on my Mac I noticed that there's now an App store...

You can use your Itunes account and balance to purchase games like Borderlands and Angry Birds, and a whole plethora of other software...


I've so far just been grabbing free apps cause I'm a cheap bastard... but the Full Deck Solitaire is awesome and The Virtual DJ Home App is A MUST for music fans looking for a wickedly intelligent Mixer...


Just wondering what App's anyone else has found handy...

plus bioshock and other big name games like call of duty are available on there too for pretty reasonable prices.

This fucking kills me. I have a mac that I picked up from an "old equipment" auction at my job about 2 years ago, and it's a PowerPC G5. For the update that included the App Store, you have to have an Intel Mac. So I'm fucked out of this unless I buy a new one, and there ain't no way ...

but you can still use software that we intel's can't...

then again we can just emulate power pc now.... :lol:

I got an old tower of power g5 myself... great workhorse
