From what I kinda guess Beth is about to start a few new things. She didn't want to comment on them on the show last week. So - if Howard retires and she doesn't - I can't see that going well...
IF (being a big huge if) Howard wants to do radio still - I see two options for him if he wants to continue to get payed and have the freedom he has now - he can stay with sirius, or start his own radio network and ??? I dunno what platform he could deliver it on - FM seems pointless and pennyless. Launching another satellite company is still outta his price range. Internet radio is jabrone and amateur at best in most cases. (few exceptions) but how much money can he make that way.
What will happen with his on demand deal as well if he leaves sirius? Will TV still want him if he's not a major player anymore? (and what the hell would they show?)
I'm not certain, but I think the In Demand contract runs out at the same time.
I still think internet is the way to go for him, so he can stay semi retired but still put out stuff when he feels like it.
Howard playing TNA audio beyond the Bubba stuff. The hell? What are they going to start buying ad time on the channels?

If you ask me the PPM is just as sketchy as Arbitron diaries. Someone could not be listening to something, but the signal registers anyway. Doesn't this benefit stations with stronger signals? I don't know how all this works but it doesn't sit right with me.

I'm hearing it, I believe now. Heard the auto tune stuff - that was bizarre and hilarious! If he gets too into it, he's going to drive everyone nuts.
I love Mammary Lane. The segments would never be highlighted themselves and are never too long that they drag on. I still wish Master Tape Theater wasn't on such a shitty slot.

Artie Lange's whereabouts and current mental status are now officially known-but the news isn't great.
An interview Artie Lange did with Penthouse Magazine before his suicide attempt was released Wednesday, and included the first family-approved update on where and how well the Howard Stern Show sidekick is recuperating.
The Penthouse article stated:
"Lange has been laying low since the suicide attempt, spending time with his mother Judy and his sister Stacey, who reports that Artie is 'still in bed and not speaking more than five words a day.' Artie's sister canceled his shows in Las Vegas and at Foxwoods, as well as a few club dates for New York that were scheduled for June and July."

Yeah, that really pissed me off yesterday, but it was satisfying too. Nobody listens to that annoying fuck Russo, and even RUSSO knows it. Shit, he can't even get calls to his show a lot of the time! Ferrall at least commands an audience on H101 and has something CREATIVE going on between his fucking ears. Hands down, Ferrall is the better broadcaster, and Howard should promo him at least 4x/year.
